נאך א ליינגערען איבררייס בין איך געווען צופרידען צו באקומען אייער בריף פון יו"ד כסלו, יום הגאולה פון כ"ק אדמו"ר האמצעי, אין וועלכען איר שרייבט וועגען פארשריט אין עניני חב"ד בהנוגע לפועל מיט דער באטייליגונג פון בני משפחת פייגלין שיחיו מיט נאך עסקנים, ויהי רצון אז עס זאל ווערען אלץ מער שטארקער און מער פארגרעסערט, און לויט ווי איך האב שוין מערערע מאל געשריבען אין דעם, אז ווען מען וועט טאן אין דעם מיט מער קוראזש און במילא מיט מער ענערגיע, און זעלבסט פארשטענדליך, בדרכי נועם, וועלען זיך ממילא צוציהען אפילו די וועלכע שטייען דערוויילע פון דערווייטענס, ועל אחת כמה וכמה די וועלכע זיינען נאהענט, און דער עיקר ניט אפשרעקען זיך אויב דעם ערשטען מאל ווערט ניט אויפגעטאן ווי מען וויל, און פרובען נאך אמאל און נאך אמאל, און סוף כל סוף איז מען מצליח, און איך האף אז ספעציעל וועט מען אויסניצען די טעג פון חדש כסלו, חדש הנסים והגאולה, וואס דענסטמאל ווערט נאך מער פארשטארקט און באנייט דער פסק בית דין של מעלה, אשר בגלל המס"נ הלזו (של רבנו הזקן) על תורת החסידות, הנה בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות, תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה, און איך ערווארט גוטע בשורות ומפורטות אין דאס אויבען געזאגטע, און אויך וועגען אייערע ענינים הפרטים.

After a longer interruption, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 10th of Kislev, the day of redemption of our holy Rebbe the Mitteler Rebbe, in which you write about progress in Chabad matters regarding practical involvement with the participation of the Feiglin family sheyichyu and other activists. May it be G‑d's will that this should become ever stronger and more expansive. As I have already written several times on this matter: when one acts with more courage and therefore with more energy—and obviously in pleasant ways—even those who currently stand at a distance will naturally be drawn in, and all the more so those who are already close. The main thing is not to be discouraged if at first things do not go as one wishes; try again and again, and ultimately one succeeds.
I hope that especially during these days of the month of Kislev—the month of miracles and redemption—when the heavenly court's ruling is renewed and strengthened because of this self-sacrifice (of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe) for the teachings of Chassidus, that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, his followers and those who walk in his path will prevail. I await good and detailed news regarding all the above as well as your personal matters.
