לאחרי הפסק הארוך נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מכ"ה וכ"ז ניסן ... הנה כבר מסרתי ובפרטיות ע"י הרה"ח כו' הרנ"ן[2] שי' שעל כל אחד ואחד מהם להתעסק בכל המרץ ובכל הכחות בענין חינוך האברכים הבאים ממרוקה, כי עתה זהו התפקיד הקדוש לעשות מדינה זו מקום קבול, לתורת הבעש"ט ותלמידיו ובעיקר לתורת החסידות חב"ד, ובהם הדבר תלוי שיהיו הת' הצנורות והשלוחים להפיץ המעיינות בכל המדינה ע"י האברכים שבאו אליהם, וחבל על כל רגע ורגע שאין מנצלים אותם במילואם לשליחות קדושה זו.
ויש מקום לומר שאם יתחנכו האברכים הנ"ל כדבעי, הנה אפשר יהי' לפעול על ידם על כל אחינו הספרדים הנמצאים עתה במבוכה גדולה, ולדעתי על פרשת דרכים, וכידוע המצב שלהם הן באה"ק ת"ו והן במרוקה וסמוכותי', וכשהשגחה העליונה בחרה בד' וה' אנשים וניתנה להם האפשריות להקים מאות אלפי חסידים במשך זמן קצר ה"ז דבר מבהיל ביותר, ולמרות כל זה הנה נמשך כמה חדשים וגם שנים ... ועד מתי תהי' הנהגה כזו? כי ה"ז עומד אחר כתלנו וכו', ומובן ופשוט ג"כ שגודל שכר כל העוסק בזה כדבעי אין די באר הן בענינים הרוחנים והן בענינים הגשמים ובריאות הגוף עאכו"כ.
מובן אשר כל האמור לעיל לא רק אליו הדברים מכוונים אלא שליח הוא לפרסם את זה בין כל חבריו הר"מ והר"י, והלואי שיפעלו הדברים מתאים לאותו המצב כמו שהוא ויהי' שליח למהר הדבר ככל האפשרי.

בהנוגע לסברתו ליסע לכאן לימים הנוראים הבע"ל, הנה בכלל נכון הדבר אף כי במה נחשב הוא לגבי הענינים הנאמרים לעיל, ויודיע לכאן את השמות וכל הידיעות הצריכות וישלחו לו את הדרישה. - מובן שכ"ז הוא אם זוג' תי' מסכמת ע"ז.

After the long pause, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 25th and 27th of Nissan... I have already conveyed, especially through Haraha"ch etc. Haranan (Reb Nisan Nemenov), that each one of them must devote all their energy and strength to the education of the Avrechim coming from Morocco. For now, this is the sacred task: to make this country a place receptive to the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and his students—primarily Chabad Chasidus. It depends on them to be the channels and emissaries to spread the wellsprings throughout the country via these Avrechim who have come to them. It is a pity for every moment not fully utilized for this holy mission.
It can be said that if these Avrechim are properly educated, it may be possible through them to influence all our Sephardic brethren who are currently in great confusion—at a crossroads, in my opinion—as is known regarding their situation both in Eretz HaKodesh and in Morocco and its surroundings. When Divine Providence has chosen four or five people and given them the opportunity to establish hundreds of thousands of Chasidim in a short time, it is truly astonishing. Yet despite all this, several months—and even years—have passed... Until when will such conduct continue? For it stands behind our wall, etc. It is also clear and simple that the great reward for anyone who truly engages in this cannot be adequately described—both spiritually and materially, including physical health even more so.
It is understood that all of the above is not directed only at you; rather, you are an emissary to publicize this among all your colleagues—the mashpi'im and roshei yeshivah—and may these words have an effect appropriate to the current situation so that you will be an emissary to hasten this matter as much as possible.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that making Morocco receptive to Chasidus depends on dedicated education of Avrechim there. Every moment should be used for this holy mission; those involved bring immense spiritual and material merit upon themselves and their communities.
