במענה על מכתבו מכ"ב ניסן, בו כותב אודות חוות דעת הרופא שנמלך אתו שמייעצו לעשות זריקות ומפעולת הזריקות הוא גם כו'.
הנה יתחיל להתעסק בזה כשיתחיל להשתדל בעניני שידוכין, והשי"ת יזכהו ויצליחו להוסיף בהתמדה ושקידה בתורת הנגלה ובפרט בתורת החסידות מבלי חשבונות ומדידות והגבלות שהנהגה כזו מעוררת מדות הרחמים דלמעלה י"ג תקוני דיקנא, וכמבואר גם בדרושי אדמו"ר הצמח צדק על הכתוב והוא רחום וגו' נדפס גם בהוספה לתהלים יהל אור.
בודאי ישתדל מצדו וגם ע"י מכיריו ומיודעיו להשפיע על אחיו שי' בעניני התורה ומצות וכן בסביבתו.

In response to your letter from the 22nd of Nissan, in which you write about the opinion of the doctor you consulted who advised you to take injections and about the effects of these injections, etc.
You should begin this treatment when you also start making efforts regarding shidduchim. May Hashem grant you merit and success to increase your diligence and perseverance in the study of Nigleh (the revealed part of Torah) and especially in Chassidus, without calculations or limitations. Such conduct arouses the Divine attributes of mercy above—the Yud-Gimmel Tikunei Dikna—as explained also in the discourses of the Admor tzt"z on the verse 'VeHu Rachum...' (He is merciful...), printed as an addition to Tehillim Yahel Or.
Certainly you will make an effort yourself and also through your acquaintances and friends to influence your brother regarding Torah and mitzvos, as well as those around him.
