במענה על שאלתו אם יסע לאה"ק תבנה ותכונן במהרה בימינו על ידי משיח צדקנו כיון שהוריו ממרוקה רוצים לנסוע לשם. הרי כבר דינו אמור, ובמכל שכן וקל וחומר, ומה הנמצא כבר באה"ק ת"ו שאסורה היציאה משם, יוצא מארץ ישראל לחוץ לארץ ללמוד תורה (רמב"ם הלכות מלכים פרק ה' הלכה ט') על אחת כמה וכמה מי שהצליחו השי"ת ללמוד בישיבה בה מתאחדים לימוד תורת הנגלה גופא דאורייתא ולימוד תורת החסידות נשמתא דאורייתא, שצריך הוא להמשיך בזה בהתמדה ושקידה, ולא לשמוע לפיתויי היצר שרוצה לבלבלו ולהפסיקו מלימודו בתורתנו תורת חיים ומלביש - הוא היצר הרע - טענותיו במסוה של יראת שמים, אולי יעלה בידו לרמות אותו, וכבר כתבתי לכמה מחבריו שיחיו אשר עליהם להמשיך בלימוד תורתנו תורת חיים ועל השי"ת נותן התורה להוסיף בברכתו להלומדים ולבני משפחתם.

In response to your question about whether you should travel to Eretz HaKodesh (may it be rebuilt and established speedily in our days through our righteous Moshiach), since your parents from Morocco want to go there: The ruling is already stated, and all the more so—if someone already in Eretz Yisrael is forbidden to leave except for Torah study (see Rambam Hilchos Melachim chapter 5, halachah 9), then certainly one who has been successful with G‑d's help in learning at a yeshivah where both the revealed part of Torah (gufah d'oraysa) and Chassidus (neshamatah d'oraysa) are united should continue this with diligence and perseverance. Do not listen to the enticements of the yetzer hara who wants to confuse you and interrupt your study of our Torah of life; he—the yetzer hara—cloaks his arguments in a guise of piety, hoping perhaps he can deceive you. I have already written to several of your friends that they must continue learning our Torah of life, and may Hashem, Giver of the Torah, increase His blessing for those who learn and for their families.
