מיט פערגעניגען האב איך באקומען אייער בריף פון ד' טבת, אין וועלכען איר שרייבט וועגען דער גרינדונג פון דעם סניף אגודת נשי ובנות חב"ד אין פיטסבורג. און השי"ת זאל העלפען אז די התחלה זאל זיין בשעה טובה ומוצלחת, און זאל אזוי אנגיין מיט דער גאנצער ארבעט פון דער אגודה, צו פארשפרייטען נר מצוה ותורה אור ומאור שבתורה בא אייך און אין דער גאנצער סביבה, וואס דאס וועט בריינגען א צוגאב ברכה והצלחה צו יעדערער פון די באטייליגטע, אין אלץ וואס זיי נויטיגען זיך מיט זייערע בני בית.
ספעציעל בין איך געווען צופרידען צו לייענען אין אייער בריף, אז איר האט זיך געשטעלט פאר אייער ציעל, צו ארייננעמען אין דער אגודה אויך פריינט פון די ווייטערע, וואס באמת זיינען דאך אלע אידען קרובים איינער מיט דעם אנדערען דורך זייער פארבונד מיט השם יתברך וועלכער איז העכער פון אלע באגרעניצונג, מען דארף נאר קוקען מיט אפענע אויגען און באמערקען דאס ווי כל ישראל זיין חברים. און ווי עס ווערט אויך ערקלערט אין תניא פרק ל"ב, און אויך דורך דעם אדמו"ר צמח צדק ווי ער באשרייבט די מצוה פון ואהבת לרעך כמוך.
בייגעלייגט איז א טשעק (18) פון איינע פון די קופות פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, וועלכען איר וועט אויסגעבען אויף די הוצאות וועלכע זיינען פארבונדען מיט אייער ארבעט, און זעלבסט פארשטענדליך אז ניט די זאך איז דא די עטליכע דאללאר, נאר אלס א מיטעל צו אריינבריינגען א צוגאב הצלחה אין אייער עבודת הק'.
אויך איז דא בייגעלייגט א קאפיע פון מיינעם א מכתב כללי צו נשי ובנות חב"ד, און חאטש עס איז פארבונדען אין שייכות מיט י"ט כסלו, איז אבער זיין אינהאלט גילטיג און וויכטיג אויך א גאנץ יאהר.

With pleasure I received your letter from the 4th of Teves, in which you write about the founding of the Agudas Nshei U'Bnos Chabad branch in Pittsburgh.
May Hashem help that this beginning should be at an auspicious and successful time, and so should continue all the work of the organization—to spread Ner Mitzvah v'Torah Or (the candle of mitzvah and light of Torah) and the light within Torah among you and throughout your surroundings. This will bring additional blessing and success to each participant in all their needs with their families.
I was especially pleased to read in your letter that you have set as your goal to include friends even from farther away in the organization. In truth, all Jews are close to one another through their connection with Hashem Yisborach (may He be blessed), which is above all limitations; one only needs to look with open eyes and notice this—that all Israel are friends. As explained as well in Tanya chapter 32, and also by the Admor tzt"z as he describes the mitzvah of Ve'ahavta L'Reiacha Kamocha (love your fellow as yourself).
Enclosed is a check ($18) from one of the funds of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbgm zya"a, which you will use for expenses connected with your work. Of course, it is not about these few dollars themselves but rather as a means to bring additional success into your holy work.
Also enclosed is a copy of my general letter to Nshei U'Bnos Chabad; although it is connected to Yud Tes Kislev, its content is valid and important throughout the entire year.
