קבלתי מכתבו בענין מר... מלא אי-שביעות רצון, אבל מה אעשה, מי קען זיך ניט דינגען מיט יעדערען באזונדער, כשהראה לי מר... כמה חדשים מלפנים את הבלוע פרינט של המכונה שהולך הוא לסדר, אמרתי לו אז על אתר, שצריך לעשות במכונה זו בתוכה קנים חלולים כדי שיחדור החומר של הדזיפענקציע לא רק מן הצד אלא גם בפנים, ואמרתי לו ג"כ טעמי ונמוקי, אשר כיון שזהו גוש גדול של שקים, קשה הדבר שיחדור זרם האויר מן הקצה אל הקצה וכמובן שמע כל מה שהצעתי לפניו, ואח"כ עשה באופן אחר, היינו בלא הקנים החלולים הנ"ל, ועתה מתאונן על שאין הדבר בשלימות, איני ח"ו בקפידא עליו כי כיון ששמע זה מאיש בעל זקן ואח"כ אמר לו האינזשינער שלו אחרת, אולי לא היתה הברירה בידו, אבל בכל אופן הענין הוא כנ"ל ועתה יש עגמת נפש מזה, אבל אחכ"ז, ראיתי מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר גרעסערע זאכען, ותקותי חזקה שלמרות כל הנ"ל הנה סו"ס יהיו כל עניניו בהצלחה ויראה זאת בעיני בשר און וועט דאס קענען איבערציילען מיט די פינגער...

I received your letter regarding Mr... which was full of dissatisfaction. But what can I do? One cannot deal with everyone individually. When Mr... showed me several months ago the blue print of the machine he was going to assemble, I told him immediately on the spot that it was necessary to make hollow rods inside this machine so that the disinfectant material would penetrate not only from the side but also inside. I also explained to him my reasoning: since this is a large mass of sacks, it is difficult for the air stream to penetrate from one end to the other. Of course he heard everything I suggested to him. Afterwards, however, he did it differently—without those aforementioned hollow rods—and now he complains that the matter is not perfect. G‑d forbid that I bear any resentment toward him; since he heard this from a man with a beard and then his own engineer told him otherwise, perhaps he had no choice. But in any case, the matter stands as above and now there is distress because of it. However, after all this, I have seen from my revered father-in-law the Rebbe even greater things than this, and my hope is strong that despite all of the above, in the end all his matters will be successful and he will see it with his own eyes and be able to count them on his fingers...
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even when one's advice is not followed and disappointment results, one should remain understanding and hopeful. With trust in G‑d and perseverance, ultimate success will come despite initial setbacks.
