Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to receive your letter of blessing for the eleventh day of the month of redemption. It is well known the assurance of Hashem—especially to Kohanim, His holy nation—and I bless you that he who blesses is blessed by the blessing of the Holy One Blessed Be He and His addition, with an increase far beyond the principal.
It can be explained as in many places in Chassidus regarding our Sages' saying: "Yafeh koach haben mikoach ha'av" (the strength of the son surpasses that of the father), yet it all comes from the father. Similarly here: even though the increase is greater than the principal, it still comes from the principal. This is like how although an awakening from Above is greater than an awakening from below, nevertheless it is drawn down through our own awakening from below. Therefore there is a similarity and connection between them, and a special quality in our own efforts—that they are what cause and compel, so to speak. Perhaps this is why one is called 'addition' and one 'principal.' And this is our strength—even though we may ask "what are we and what is our life," etc.—that even if we open only as much as the eye of a needle, nevertheless opening a great hall depends on our needle's eye.
With blessings for a kosher and joyous Pesach in every sense.
P.S.: I have already asked to convey to Kehadra"g via telephone in response to his questions: A) I am not present at the time of baking our matzah shemurah on Erev Pesach. B) If Kehadra"g decides to be present at the baking of matzah shemurah, he may participate either in pouring water or another aspect during baking. C) The conclusion of our matzah shemurah baking is approximately at midday.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even minimal personal effort can draw immense Divine blessing—our small actions serve as catalysts for G‑d's abundant response. He also provides practical advice about participating in matzah baking before Pesach.
