קבלתי מכתבו בו כותב שזה איזה שבועות שאינו מרגיש את עצמו בטוב ודעת הרופא שיצטרך לנתוח...
הנני בזה להביע ברכתי שיתן השי"ת שהכל יהי' בהצלחה וכשורה ובריאותו ישתפר והלוך ילך וטוב ויוכל בעצמו לבשר בשורות טובות בזה.
ובחדש אדר זה שרז"ל אמרו במדרש שמזלו הוא דגים שזה ענין ליהודים ובפרט חסידים שעליהם נאמר וידגו לרוב בקרב הארץ, שגם בענינים ארציים וגשמיים נוהגים כמו דגים, שלא יפרשו ממקור חיותם (ברכות ס"א ע"ב) וכן לא יפרשו מדרך התורה ומצות כמו"כ מזלו יביא לו רפואה קרובה ובריאות הנכונה.

I received your letter in which you write that for several weeks you have not been feeling well and that the doctor's opinion is that you will need surgery... I hereby express my blessing that may Hashem grant that everything should go successfully and properly, your health should improve more and more, and you yourself should be able to share good news about this.
And in this month of Adar, about which our Sages said in the Midrash that its sign is Pisces (Dagim), which is significant for Jews—especially Chassidim—about whom it is said "Veyidgu Larov Bekerev Haaretz" (they shall multiply like fish within the land), meaning that even in material and physical matters they behave like fish who do not separate from their source of life (Berachos 61b), so too they do not separate from the path of Torah and mitzvos. In this way, his sign will bring him a speedy recovery and proper health.
