במענה על מכתביו מר"ח וזיי"ן מ"ח:
א) הלקו"ת לא קבלתי ע"ע. שאלתי את הרב"ג שי' ואמר לי, כי קבל רק עקז' אחר בשביל עצמו. ימים אלו נתקבלו כ"ה סדורים. אם הי' מתקבל ש"א קודם חנוכה ולקו"ת קודם בשלח - הי' זה דבר בעתו.
ב) תמי' שלא שלח, ע"י אלו שנסעו למחנה נעמאנאוו, עכ"פ חלק מהספרים. והלא משם שכיחי נוסעים לכאן.
ג) בנוגע להשגת רשיון לכניסת הספרים לכאן - מתענין העו"ד לדעת מאיזה מחלקה קבלו הרשיון אלה ששלחו כבר ספרים, אם ממחלקת המכס או סטייט דעפארטמענט. ונא להודיענו. ולו יכול להשיג פוטגרפיא מרשיון הזה הי' מה טוב.
בכל אופן, אין לסמוך על הרשיון מכאן בנוגע לאלה הספרים אשר מוכנים כבר לשלחם. ואין לדחות בשביל זה את המשלח. אלא לשלח תיכף ומיד ע"י הדאר עכ"פ אלף סדורים חמש מאות זאטץ של שו"ע תו"א והשערים ולקו"ת. וכמאתיים ספרנו חלק חמישי. ולהודיענו תיכף שעשה כזאת.
ד) בסוף הערותי לפס"ד צריך להוסיף הערה זו: ס"ט, בסוף ע"ד: בהעתקה אחת מצאתי:..."מהרלנ"ח סק"ב. בפורים שנת הכת"ר פה ליובאוויטש ציוה אדמו"ר לברך שהחיינו בבוקר קודם קריאת המגילה".
ה) צריך למהר בהדפסת הפס"ד, כי יש ע"ז מנדב וכמש"כ מכבר.
ו) זה כחדש שעניתי להר"מ זעליוויאנסקי. ומטובו להודע אם קבל הנ"ל את מכתבי.
ז) מוסג"פ המאמר מי"ג תשרי ור"ד דסעודת שמחת תורה לזכות בם את הרבים, כן מכתב כללי מהמל"ח וביום הולדת את כ"ק אדנ"ע שמזלו גובר ביחוד (כמ"ש בירוש' ר"ה ג', ח') יושפע עלינו כולנו לזכות להשתתף בהפצת תורתו היא תורת הבעש"ט תורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א.

In response to your letters from Rosh Chodesh and the seventh of Menachem Av: a) I have not yet received the Likkutei Torah. I asked Rabbi B.G., and he told me that he only received one copy for himself. Recently, twenty-five siddurim arrived. If Shulchan Aruch had arrived before Chanukah and Likkutei Torah before Beshalach, it would have been timely.
b) I am surprised you did not send at least part of the books with those who traveled to Camp Naamanov. After all, travelers from there often come here.
c) Regarding obtaining a license to bring the books here—the attorney is interested to know from which department those who already sent books received their license: was it from the customs department or the State Department? Please inform us. If you could obtain a photograph of this license, that would be very good. In any case, do not rely on a license from here regarding those books that are already ready to be sent. Do not delay the shipment because of this; rather, send immediately by mail at least one thousand siddurim, five hundred sets of Shulchan Aruch Torah Or and Shaarim and Likkutei Torah, and about two hundred copies of our book volume five. Notify us immediately once you have done so.
d) At the end of my notes on the psak din you should add this note: "Section 9 at the end: In one copy I found: ... Maharal Nach section 2. On Purim in the year of Keter here in Lubavitch, the Rebbe instructed to recite Shehecheyanu in the morning before reading the Megillah."
e) You must hurry with printing the psak din because there is a donor for this as I wrote previously.
f) About a month ago I replied to R.M. Zeliviansky. Please let me know if he received my letter.
g) Enclosed is the maamar from 13 Tishrei and an address from Simchas Torah meal to merit many through them; also a general letter from Melach and on the birthday of our master teacher Rebbe whose mazal is especially strong (as written in Yerushalmi Rosh Hashanah 3:8), may it influence all of us to merit participating in spreading his Torah—the Torah of the Baal Shem Tov—the Torah of our master teacher Rebbe shlita.
