I received your letter from the 17th of Sivan and in response:
...Throughout this time we have received: Alef Tarlat our book vol. II; Alef Tet-Zayin our book vol. IV; Taf Resh Samech Taniyot; Samech Hei Sefer HaSichos; Nun Bet our book vol. I; Hei Poke'a; Hei Sefer HaMaamarim. Most urgently needed is our book vol. I, as well as to send immediately one copy of everything that has been completed in print, even if not yet bound (whether complete books or pamphlets).
3) Obviously in Likkutei Torah it should read: Third Chamber, Fourth Gate.
4) After all the notes are finished it can be sold in the regions—the Shulchan Aruch and Likkutei Torah for two and a half tarmken (shekels), Torah Or and Piskei Dinim—one and a half.
5) In the notes to Piskei Dinim vol. II add this note to page 38a (the first one, since in vol. II it starts with "P numbered A"): In Book Number One Reish Yud Alef, B after the word "to pay" (line twelve) it says: And what was brought by the Bach and Drisha as proof for the Tur from what Tosafot wrote Menachot 41b s.v. Chada can be refuted because Tosafot only said this to teach us that tefillin do not require intent due to borrowing we cannot learn from here because there is room to refute this but now that Scripture revealed regarding tefillin so too with shechita and certainly with shechita one is negligent in all cases unlike tefillin. In Tur Siman Yud Alef.
6) Here they are urging very much for the printing of Piskei Dinim as appropriate for the donor.
7) Enclosed is a pamphlet for Yud-Beis Tammuz and a letter to the students of Tomchei Temimim may they live.
Certainly you will notify immediately upon receiving this letter and respond regarding the above.
