In response to your letters asking for clarification on why you have not received an answer to your letters to the Rebbe Rayatz shlita, in which you describe your work regarding Shabbat observance and similar matters: I already suggested this before the festival and again this week. However, right before and after the festival there was no opportunity to respond except on the most urgent matters. Certainly, in the coming week you will receive an answer to your questions from the Rebbe Rayatz shlita.

On this occasion, I would like to once again encourage you regarding the continuation of your list of memories from the years 5699–5700 (1939–1940), which you stopped at their beginning.

It is worth examining what is written about 'If you forsake Me for a day, I will forsake you for two'—whether this applies only to Torah (as it seems somewhat from Zohar III 36a), or also to other matters of holiness (apparently so from Rashi on Devarim 11:13 who brings this in connection with 'And it will be if you forget...' referring to fear of Heaven), or if it is a natural matter relevant in all areas where forgetfulness is possible. It is also worth studying the analogies brought about this at the end of Yerushalmi Berachos.
