אאשר קבלת מכתביו מכ"ג ניסן ור"ח אייר והקודמים להם, ואחכה לבשו"ט מסידור הישיבה והבית רבקה בקסבלנקה לזמן החדש המתחיל עתה, וידוע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אז ווי מען שטעלט אוועק אזוי גייט דאס.
ב) ת"ח על הטרחה בשילוח הספרים שרשימתם נמצאת במכתבו דכ"ג ניסן. ובטח יודיע (אם יש נחיצות בזה) ע"ד המכתבי תודה למשלחיהם. ולפלא קצת, שכפי הידיעה הנה נדפסו בצפון אפריקה ובפרט בג'רבה מספר רב ביותר של ספרי קבלה, ובהספרים ששולח אין ספרים כאלו אלא אחדים ממש, ואולי כדאי לחקור ולדרוש עד"ז.
ג) מוסג"פ מכתב מענה להשו"ב דמחנם, אשר מטובו למסור לו. ות"ח על הטרחה. ואם נצרך לתוספת ביאור, בטח ימצא האותיות המתאימות לזה, להרב מתאורירט אכתוב ימים אלו.
ד) אפשר הדבר, אשר בעוד כשבוע או שבועיים יבקר במרוקה אחד מצעירי אגודת חב"ד בכאן תלמיד ישיבת תומכי תמימים והוא האברך הרה"ג והרה"ח וכו' מו"ה שלום שי' חאסקינד (הנוסע לאה"ק ת"ו ויסור, בדרכו, למרוקה בשליחותי). וכיון שהוא מדבר בלה"ק (כי הי' דר באה"ק ת"ו משך איזה שנים) וכן יד לו בלימוד נגלה וחסידות, הנה יש לנצל הזדמנות זו שינאום לפני המורים הצעירים, ואולי גם בנוכחות הספרדים הקשישים ומכש"כ בפני התלמידים, שאם יסודר זה באופן המתאים, הרי יש לקוות שיגרום התעוררות גדולה בין הת' ובין המורים והמחנכים שמבין הספרדים, והוא יוכל להתעכב במרוקה משך זמן הדרוש להנ"ל, אלא שההכנה הדרושה לזה - באם דורשת זמן - יש לעשותה מקודם.

I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 23rd of Nissan, Rosh Chodesh Iyar, and those before them. I await good news regarding the organization of the yeshiva and Beis Rivka in Casablanca for the new term beginning now. It is well known the saying of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—zatzal: "As one sets things up, so they proceed."
b) Thank you very much for your efforts in sending the books listed in your letter from the 23rd of Nissan. Certainly you will inform (if necessary) about thank-you letters to their senders. It is somewhat surprising that, according to reports, a great number of Kabbalah books have been printed in North Africa—especially in Djerba—yet among the books you sent there are only a few such works. Perhaps it is worthwhile to investigate this matter further.
c) Enclosed is a letter responding to the shochet u'bodek from Meknes; please kindly deliver it to him. Thank you again for your efforts. If further clarification is needed, you will surely find suitable words for this; I will write to Rabbi Meitourirt these days.
d) It is possible that within a week or two one of the young members of Agudas Chabad here—a student at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim—will visit Morocco: Avrech Haraha"g veHaraha"ch etc. Moreinu Harav Shalom Chaskind (who is traveling to Eretz HaKodesh and will stop in Morocco on my mission). Since he speaks Hebrew (having lived in Eretz HaKodesh for several years) and is knowledgeable in both Nigleh and Chassidus, this opportunity should be used for him to lecture before young teachers—and perhaps also before senior Sephardim—and certainly before students. If arranged properly, this could bring great inspiration among both students and teachers/educators from among the Sephardim. He can stay in Morocco as long as needed for this purpose; if preparations require time, they should be made in advance. The telegram regarding Reb Shalom surely arrived on time.
