מקבל אני ידיעות מדי פעם בפעם מאנ"ש בכלל, ומהכפר בפרט, על דבר התענינותו הטובה במעמדם ומצבם. והנני מקוה כי גם להבא יהי' להם לעזר וסיוע בכל עת מצוא.
הגם שאמרו חז"ל יותר ממה שבעל הבית עושה עם העני העני עושה עם בעל הבית, בכל זה הפליגו במעשה הצדקה לעזור לנצרך בשעת דחקו, ובפרט שיש בזה זכות הרבים. ויקרה לי התענינותו בגורלם בפרטי פרטיות, שכן רואה אני בה המשך שלשלת הזהב מצור מחצבתו, עבותות נאמנים המקשרים אותו לאבותיו ואבות אבותיו, אשר ככל דבר של נצחיות בלתי נאבד התובע בטוי במעשים הנה התענינותו במצבם של אנ"ש שי' והסיוע שנותן להם הרי הם הצנורות הנובעים ממעין התורה בכלל וחסידות בפרט.
משום כך בטוח אני אשר להבא יוסיף אומץ בהתענינותו ועזרתו לאנ"ש שי' באה"ק ת"ו ככל דבר חי ומלא כח עלומים אשר גדולו הוא סימן חיותו. ולמותר להביע לו רגשי תודתי, שמובן הוא מאליו, ועצם הענין כלו אומר תודה בפירות הנראים ואשר עתידים עוד לבוא.
גם הי' לי לקורת רוח לשמוע ממחותני הרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ עסקן בעל מרץ והוגה דעות וכו' מוהר"ר אברהם שי' חן מהסיוע שקבל מכ"מ שי' בעבודתו במשרד החינוך ותרבות, שבטח גם להבא ישתדל בזה ככל האפשר.
לקראת חג הפסח, בערוב החג, אאחל למע"כ ואשר לו חג כשר ושמח. בטח ידוע לו מאמר רבינו הזקן אשר יציאת מצרים צריכה להיות בכל יום, היינו יציאה ושחרור מהמצרים וגבולים, אשר זהו גם תכלית המין האנושי לצאת מההגבלות בעלי' אחר עלי', באופן שהיום נעלה הוא על ההגבלות של תמול, ויום המחרת יהי' נעלה על המצרים של היום, ע"י ההכנות לזה היום.

I receive reports from time to time from Anash in general, and from the village in particular, about your positive involvement in their situation and circumstances. I hope that you will continue to be a help and support to them whenever needed.
Although our Sages said that more than the householder does for the poor person, the poor person does for the householder, nevertheless they greatly praised acts of charity—helping those in need at times of distress—especially when it brings merit to the many.
Your personal concern for their fate is precious to me in every detail. I see in it a continuation of the golden chain from your source—a faithful bond connecting you with your fathers and forefathers—which, like all things eternal, demands expression through deeds. Your involvement with Anash and your assistance to them are channels flowing from the wellspring of Torah in general and Chassidus in particular.
Therefore I am confident that you will continue to strengthen your interest and help for Anash in Eretz HaKodesh as is fitting for something living and full of youthful vigor—its growth is a sign of its vitality.
It is unnecessary to express my gratitude—it is self-evident—and the matter itself expresses thanks through its visible fruits and those yet to come.
I was also pleased to hear from my mechutan Haraha"g vavaha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"m activist full of energy and thoughtful etc. Moreinu HaRav Reb Avraham Chen about the help he received from you in his work at the Ministry of Education and Culture; surely you will continue to assist as much as possible.
As Pesach approaches, on its eve, I wish you and yours a kosher and joyous festival.
You surely know the saying of Rabbeinu HaZaken that the Exodus from Egypt must happen every day—that is, an exodus and liberation from one's own constraints and boundaries. This is also humanity's purpose: to leave limitations by ascending ever higher so that today surpasses yesterday's boundaries, and tomorrow surpasses today's constraints through today's preparations.
