... ב) במענה על מכ' בענין הדפסת התניא, הנה יודע דעתי בזה זה מכבר, אשר אין להדפיס את התניא שלא ע"י פוטוגרפיא מהוצאת תו"ת שהוגה ע"י כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע, ולמה לנו לכנוס בספיקות לקבל עלינו אחריות הגהה כיון שאפשר בלא"ה.
ג) בענין הדפסת הסידור תהלת ה', הנה מטובו להודיעני עוד פרטים בזה, היינו לאיזה סידור כוונתו, אם לזה שנדפס ברוסטוב או לתהלת ה' השלם, ואם תהי' ההדפסה ע"י פוטוגרפיא או בסידור מחדש וכו' וכו'.
וכפי שהבנתי ממכתבו, הנה המדפיס מציע להדפיס זה ע"ח הוא, א"כ בטח יש לו תנאים מצדו ג"כ, אשר בודאי יעלה את זה על הכתב, ובכ"א צריך לדעת זאת מקודם בפרטיות.

b) In response to your letter regarding the printing of Tanya: You already know my opinion on this for some time—that Tanya should not be printed except by photostatic reproduction from the To'haras HaTorah edition, which was edited by the Rebbe Rashab of blessed memory. Why should we enter into doubts and take upon ourselves editorial responsibility when it can be avoided altogether?
c) Regarding the printing of the Tehillas Hashem Siddur: Please inform me with more details—specifically, which siddur you mean: the one printed in Rostov or the complete Tehillas Hashem? And will it be printed via photostatic reproduction or as a newly typeset siddur, etc.? As I understood from your letter, the printer is offering to print at his own expense; if so, he surely has his own conditions as well, which he will certainly put in writing. In any case, this must be clarified in detail beforehand.
