בנועם שמעתי מידידנו הרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ עוסק בצצ"ב וכו' מהור"ר בנימין שי' גאראדצקי על דבר עבודתו הנמרצה והמסורה בעד החזקת והפצת התורה בכלל, והשתתפותו בעבודתנו החינוכית במוסדות "אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש" בפרט.
והתקוה תאמצני כי כת"ר שי' עוד יוסיף אומץ בעבודתו הק' להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה.
וידוע מרז"ל בזח"ב (קפג, ב) בענין אכילת מצה, למלכא דהוה לי' בר יחידאי וחלש, יומא חד הוה תאיב למיכל, אמרו ייכול ברי' מיכלא דאסוותא כו' כך כד נפקו ישראל ממצרים כו' אמר הקב"ה יטעמון ישראל אסוותא.
והנה בבוא חג הפסח הבע"ל אשר כל איש בישראל בראשית סדרו שלחנו קורא ומכריז כל דכפין ייתי וייכול גו' ענינו לא רק כשפוטו אלא גם להמציא מיכלא דאסוותא מיכלא דמהימנותא לבר יחידאי דחלש ותאיב למיכל וגדול הנחת רוח שגורמים על ידי זה לאבינו שבשמים יתברך שמו ויתעלה, ומה רב הטוב הצפון בזה ובבא לכל העושים ומתעסקים בעבודת החינוך לחנך בני ובנות ישראל בחינוך הכשר, וביחוד להעומדים בראש כמרז"ל כהן גדול נוטל חלק בראש.
ובזה הנני לברך את כת"ר וכל הנלוים אליו בברכת חג כשר ושמח וכל טוב הנראה מנפש ועד בשר, ומהרה בעגלא דידן תקויים בקשתנו לשנה הבאה בארעא דישראל בני חורין על ידי משיח צדקנו.
הדורש שלומו וטובתו תמיד כל הימים.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
With pleasure I heard from our friend Haraha"g vavaha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"m engaged in tzt"z etc. Moreinu HaRav Reb Binyamin shiyichyeh Garadetsky about his energetic and devoted work for strengthening and spreading Torah in general, and his participation in our educational work in the "Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch" institutions in particular. The hope strengthens me that your honor will further increase his strength in this holy work to magnify and glorify Torah.
It is known from our Sages of blessed memory in Zohar III (123b) regarding eating matzah: about a king who had an only son who was weak; one day he desired to eat, so they said let him eat food of healing etc. So too when Israel left Egypt etc., the Holy One said let Israel taste food of healing. And so when the festival of Pesach arrives, every Jew at the beginning of his Seder proclaims 'Kol dichfin yeitei veyeichol' (Let all who are hungry come and eat), which means not only as a judge but also to provide food of healing, food of faith to the only son who is weak and desires to eat. How great is the pleasure caused thereby to our Father in Heaven, may His Name be blessed and exalted! And how great is the good reserved now and in the future for all those involved in educational work to educate Jewish boys and girls with proper education—especially those who stand at the head as our Sages say: 'The Kohen Gadol takes first portion.'
With this I bless your honor and all those associated with you with a kosher and joyous festival and all visible good from soul to flesh. May our request soon be fulfilled speedily in our days: next year in Eretz Yisrael as free people through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
