In response to your letter describing your situation: that you do not have enough time to manage the work of being principal at the yeshiva and teaching classes there, while also running your holy book business and related matters. Because of this, you wish to leave the principal position at the yeshiva and are asking my opinion on this.

In my opinion, if there is not enough time for all these matters mentioned above, you should stop teaching classes and similar activities, but not leave the principal position. Some of my reasons are: even a head of a granary is appointed from Heaven, and especially since this greatness was given to you by my revered father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe of blessed memory. This is regarding your side. Regarding the yeshiva: if it is clear that your replacement would be better than you or otherwise. There are additional reasons as well.

I hope that you will be able to manage the work of principal alone together with the necessary participation in your book business on the side, in such a way that neither area will suffer.
