I have heard of your good reputation through your representative and our office in Europe and Morocco. It would please me to hear from time to time about the improvement of the educational situation in your country and about your good activities in this field.

I have instructed the office of the "Merkaz L'Inyonei Chinuch" to send a certain number of textbooks published by us, as well as Chumash books, etc., for the children of your country. Surely they have been received properly and will bring the desired benefit.

I am sending you the booklet for Pesach that was published before the holiday. Certainly Pesach brought inspiration and strengthening in the work of education in our camp, for every Jew at the beginning of his Seder on this holy festival reads and proclaims: 'Kol dichfin yeitei veyeichol...' (Let all who are hungry come and eat...), whose meaning is not only literal but also refers to providing food of healing and food of faith to the unique child of the King who is weak and longs to eat (Zohar II 183b). Great is the pleasure caused thereby to our Father in Heaven, blessed and exalted is He; goodness abounds for all those who engage in educating Jewish boys and girls with proper education.
