לקראת זמן מתן תורתנו הבע"ל, הנני להביע ברכתי שנחוג את חג קבת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות, ממחרת השבת השביעית - כמשמעו וגם כפשוטו ממש עפ"י קביעות שנה זו.
וידוע פירוש תורת החסידות (לקוטי תורה לאדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא פ' אמור ד"ה והניף רפ"ב) ממחרת השבת, למעלה מן (קדושת) השבת, מקיפים דאימא, וזה נותן כח לספירת העומר שנת' בזח"ג (צו, א. ושם).
בידעי חיבת הקדש שכהדר"ג שי' רוחש לדברי תורה ושיחות קדש של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שלוח בזה קונטרס חג השבועות דהאי שתא שזה עתה הו"ל.

As we approach the time of the giving of our Torah, may it come upon us for good, I wish to express my blessing that we celebrate the Festival of Receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness, "from the day after the seventh Sabbath"—in both its literal and plain sense according to this year's calendar.
It is well known in Chassidic teachings (Likkutei Torah by Admor Hazaken Baal HaTanya on Parshat Emor, beginning with "Vehenif," page 282) that "the day after the Sabbath" refers to a level higher than (the holiness of) Shabbat—Makifim d'Imma—and this gives strength for Sefirat HaOmer as explained in Zohar III (Tzav 1 and there).
Knowing your holy affection for words of Torah and sacred talks of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, I am sending herewith a pamphlet for Shavuot of this year which has just been published.
