שלום וברכה!
בנועם קראתי מכתבו, בו מודיע אשר עשו התועדות ח"י אלול, וקראו שיחות הקדש מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ובטח היתה ג"כ התעוררות לאהבת ישראל, אהבת התורה ואהבת השי"ת, אשר כולא חד, ונתגלה זה ע"י כ"ק מורנו הבעש"ט וכ"ק מורנו אדמו"ר הזקן בעל השו"ע והתניא, שיום ההולדת שלהם הוא ביום ח"י אלול, ויה"ר מהשי"ת שכאו"א מאתנו יגשם בפועל את כל ההחלטות הטובות בתורה ומצות.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לו ולב"ב שיחיו לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

With pleasure I read your letter, in which you inform that you held a farbrengen on Chai Elul and read holy talks from my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden zichuso yagen aleinu. Surely there was also an awakening to Ahavas Yisrael (love of a fellow Jew), love of Torah, and love of Hashem—which are all one—and this was revealed by our teacher the Baal Shem Tov and our teacher the Alter Rebbe, author of Shulchan Aruch and Tanya, whose birthdays are on Chai Elul. May it be G‑d's will that each one of us fulfills in actuality all good resolutions in Torah and mitzvos.
As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year for you and your household—both materially and spiritually together.
