המצווה הקמ"ג
הציווי שנצטווינו לתן לכהן את הזרוע והלחיים והקבה מכל בהמה טהורה שאנו שוחטים.
הוא אמרו יתעלה: "וזה יהיה משפט הכהנים מאת העם מאת זבחי הזבח אם שור אם שה" (דברים יח, ג).
וכבר נתבארנו דיני מצווה זו בפרק י' מחולין.
ואין הלויים חייבים במצווה זו.
The 143rd mitzvah The commandment in which we were commanded to give to the Kohen the foreleg, the cheeks, and the maw from every kosher animal that we slaughter. This is as He, may He be exalted, said: "And this shall be the due of the Kohanim from the people, from those who offer a slaughtered animal, whether ox or sheep" (Devarim 18:3). The laws of this mitzvah have already been explained in chapter 10 of Chullin. And the Leviim are not obligated in this mitzvah.
