Mrs. Keila, the daughter of Rabbi Aharon Tomarkin, who was the rabbi and head of the rabbinical court (Av Beit Din) in Kharkov. She married Rabbi Yehuda Chitrik. The young couple initially established their home in Kharkov, not far from the residence of Mrs. Chitrik’s parents. Rabbi Yehuda Chitrik eventually settled in Montreal, Canada.
