Leaving Eretz Yisrael During Hakhel Year and Visiting the Kotel

The Rebbe advises against leaving Eretz Yisrael early, especially during the Hakhel year. He encourages the family to visit the Kotel and study verses related to Hakhel there during Chol HaMoed Sukkos, and requests that this not be publicized.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

(1) There is no reason to leave Eretz Yisrael early.

(2) It is not advisable, especially since you are asking and it is the year of Hakhel. It would be worthwhile for your wife and children—may they live—to visit and learn a few verses from the portion of Hakhel at the Kotel during Chol HaMoed Sukkos.

(4) I will mention it at the Tziyun.
