Shalom u'Vrachah!
(1) Birthday customs. (2) This is the first mitzvah in the Torah. It is truly astonishing that this is even a question! Especially since every person is given all the necessary strengths to withstand every challenge. (3) It is stated—Yagata u'Matzata ("If you toil, you will find"). (4) The matter is important—but since the advice in her current situation is (not to exaggerate the matter, not to increase her tension about it, and not to lessen her attention to guiding the campers—and therefore she should) divert her mind from these issues, she should try to stop all such discussions and serve Hashem with joy. (5) The foundation of faith—Divine Providence—and therefore this nullifies her letter.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that one should approach challenges with confidence in their G‑d-given abilities and focus on serving Hashem with joy rather than dwelling on doubts or difficulties.
