איד אין זיין אופפירונג און אין זיינע שטרעבונגען, סיי אין די וואָכעדיגע טעג און סיי שבת און יום-טוב. די דאָזיגע הדגשה איז איינגעפלאַנצט געוואָרן אין דער ישיבה ווען זי איז געגרינדעט געוואָרען דורך כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב, וואָס היינט - כ' חשון - האָבן מיט פאַרצייכנט זיין יום הולדת (געבורטס-טאָג); די זעלבע הדגשה איז איבערגעפלאַנצט געוואָרן צוזאַמען מיט דער ישיבה תומכי-תמימים - אין אַמעריקא, דורך בנו יחידו וממלא מקומו, כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר; און אַזוי ווערט דאָס אויך ווייטער פאָרגעזעצט אין דעם זעלבן גייסט.
איצט, אַז עס דערנעעטערט זיך די יערלעכע אונטערנעמונג פון דער צענטראַלע ישיבת תומכי-תמימים, וויל איך האָפן, אַז אַלע חובבי תורה, ובפרט אנ"ש, שיחיו, וועלן אויסניצן די געלעגנהייט אַריינצוברענגען מער "שבת'דיקייט" בגופם ובממונם - אין דעם אויבנדערמאָנטן זין, כדי צו פאַרזיכערן דעם דערפאָלג פון דער יערלעכער אונטערנעמונג און מעגלעך מאַכן פאַר דער ישיבה אָנצוגיין מיט איר הייליגער אַרבעט צו דערציען וואָס מער תלמידים "תמימים" און אין אַן אופן פון מוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור.
ותבוא עליהם ועל בני ביתם שיחיו ברכת ה' בכל המצטרך בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

It has already been pointed out that the setting of Rosh Hashanah this year—when Rosh Hashanah fell on Shabbos—emphasizes the special instruction that this year in particular we must bring more of the spirit of Shabbos into all the days of the year, just as Rosh Hashanah is the head (rosh) of the entire year.
In simple terms: how can one bring Shabbos-ness into a weekday when one is occupied with weekday matters? It is straightforward: by doing weekday activities with a Shabbos-like purpose and in such a way that this purpose permeates and becomes primary—in thought and feeling—throughout one's actions.
This also applies to earning a physical livelihood: when all one's efforts are imbued with a holy Shabbos purpose—not just for making a living, but in order to raise one's children and oneself as Hashem has instructed in His Torah, Toras Chaim—meant literally as instructions for daily life, not only for Shabbos and Yom Tov.
This approach and practical way of life is the goal of proper education in general and is among the very foundations of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in particular. "Tamim" means being a complete Jew in conduct and aspirations both during weekdays and on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
This emphasis was implanted in the yeshiva at its founding by my holy ancestor Admor Maharash, whose birthday (yom huledet) was recently marked on 20 Cheshvan; this same emphasis was transplanted together with Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim to America by his only son and successor, my holy father-in-law Admor [Rayatz], and so it continues onward in this same spirit.
Now that the annual campaign of the central Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim approaches, I hope that all lovers of Torah—and especially Anash—will use this opportunity to bring more "Shabbos-ness" into their bodies and resources—in the above sense—to ensure the success of this annual campaign and enable the yeshiva to continue its sacred work educating ever more talmidim temimim, always increasing light upon light.
May Hashem's blessing come upon them and their households for everything needed materially and spiritually together.
