As the new year approaches, bringing goodness and blessing to us and all of Israel, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year in both material and spiritual matters.

The information has been received (with a copy of your letter) regarding the establishment of the fund that will enable outstanding students at Beis Rivkah in Kfar Chabad—may it be built and established—to visit holy places in Eretz HaKodesh (which is entirely holy). This is a cause for great joy, as you suggested, to include this in the activities of the institutions. It is appropriate that the Fund for the Seventieth should participate with about ten percent.
It is fitting that during these visits—all those who seek Torah should tour the Land—as is stated (and as explained at length in Or HaTorah Shelach p. 443ff.), "and the advantage of the Land," to increase and elevate the Land.
The guests brought—two volumes (Between Giants of Exile, Farzik) and the letter on "Yom Segulah," Elul 18—the day of merit.
