Shalom u'Vrachah!
Nshei U'Bnos Yisrael from Georgia who are in our holy land may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach—may G‑d be upon them—blessing and peace!
With pleasure I received your letter, in which you share good news about the classes in Judaism in general and especially regarding the laws of family purity. May Hashem fulfill your heart's desires for good—to succeed in your studies, learning that leads to action, and in all your endeavors for good and blessing.
You surely know the words of Rabbi Akiva that the mitzvah 'VeAhavta L'Reiacha Kamocha' (Love your fellow as yourself) is a great principle in the Torah; meaning one should not be satisfied with personal achievement but must strive so that your friend will be like you. This is also related to the concept of Machatzit HaShekel (the half-shekel), about which on the first of Adar we announce the shekalim. As explained in its hint: a Jew by himself is only a half; only together with another Jew like him does he become whole. This is also one reason why 'the rich shall not give more nor the poor less than half a shekel.'
It should further be added that even someone who considers themselves poor—whether in their own eyes or truly so—should not think: what can I do or accomplish for others? For when it comes to matters of goodness and holiness, everyone according to their situation can influence their entire environment—whether through speech or even more so through living example.
This is also emphasized by the Torah regarding the Shekel HaKodesh (holy shekel), for all sons and daughters of Israel are a holy seed—sons and daughters of a holy nation. Not as those who err think—that there are religious Jews and non-religious Jews—for in truth all sons and daughters of Israel are believers, children of believers; only that some have been led astray by their inclination due to various external reasons. But their hearts are awake to Torah and mitzvot if only someone will awaken them appropriately.
May it be G‑d's will that since when Adar enters we increase in joy, joy will increase among you and it will be fulfilled for you: 'LaYehudim Hayta Orah v'Simchah v'Sasson v'Yikar' (For the Jews there was light and gladness and joy and honor) both materially and spiritually together.
With blessings for success, good tidings, and a happy Purim.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that every Jew is inherently holy with unique power to influence others positively. Unity is essential; no one is complete alone. Especially during Adar, increasing joy brings both material and spiritual blessings.
