I had great pleasure from the visit of your group from that country who came here for the month of Tishrei. Before their departure, I asked them to convey my blessings for a good and sweet year in all matters to you, in addition to my written wishes, together with giving a l'chaim as is customary. And it is certain that an emissary fulfills his mission.
May it be G‑d's will that He fulfill the blessings of the Jewish people to one another in their entirety and with abundant increase beyond the essential, from His full, open, holy, and generous hand.

I wanted to write regarding my meeting and conversations with the immigrants—may they live—about one particular point; however, I reconsidered and will delay my writing until after your meeting with them so I can know your impression of them and their wives and children—may they live. [I requested that if possible—that among your emissaries there be representatives from all those mentioned above, including also Georgians, academics, etc.]
