In response to your letter from Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Adar... In general, it is understood that when it comes to an individual versus the many, halacha follows the majority; meaning one should not endanger the many to save an individual. However, on the other hand, certainly ways should be found so that the individual will not come to harm—such as by isolating her in a way that she will not have close contact with the students, or by housing her in a private home where she will be cared for until her condition improves—of course in a religious home and so forth. There have already been several similar cases in educational institutions where something like this was done...

May it be G‑d's will that you share good news regarding all of the above. I hope you have already received a detailed report from those who visited here during and after the Yud Shevat gatherings, especially from the one who was chosen by lot among those who participated in the raffle and acted as their representative.
