ובקרוב ממש בעגלא דידן יהפכו ימים אלו
לששון
ולשמחה ולמועדים טובים,
בגאולתנו האמתית והשלימה ע"י משיח צדקנו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter... As we stand in the days of the month of Menachem Av, may it be G‑d's will that our Father in Heaven, the Merciful Father and Father of Mercies, comfort His people Israel (as our Sages have promised) with a double consolation—double for their troubles. It is known that this doubling is not merely twice as much as before, but rather incomparably greater. And very soon, speedily in our days, these days will be transformed into joy and gladness and festivals for good with our true and complete redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that during Menachem Av we should anticipate an incomparable consolation from G‑d, leading to the transformation of sorrow into joy with the coming of Moshiach.
