In response to your telegram and our conversation here, and even though you did not ask for my opinion, I told you that according to my knowledge it is clear that a global convention of synagogues will meet with great opposition, and I was very pained that despite this the activity continued in this manner. My stance on this is negative. And even if it will not be in Jerusalem, it is based on the absolutely negative position of the Admor in similar matters.
I sign with pain over your involvement in this matter and await mercy from Heaven.
