So, it requires further study if the interruption will be considered permanent. 2) If it can be said about this, even with difficulty, that it is the middle of the synagogue, as opposed to when there is at least one row of worshippers. For sometimes at least 'middle' comes to exclude the ends – (and as is known from the proof in Terumot 3:5. See Tziyun Yerushalayim there).

And it is an answer to Moreinu HaRav Shmuel Pesach Bogomilsky in response to his question [continuing from letter ches-tet-tav-bet above] whether a free space equivalent to one row of seated people between the Torah reading place and the Ark suffices.
