My secretary, Mr. Nisan Mindel, conveyed your regards as well as the content of your conversations with you, especially regarding Kfar Chabad. Naturally, I was particularly pleased to hear about the interest of our friend, etc., etc., Mr. Shazar in matters of the village and that you are encouraging him in this as is fitting. Enclosed is a copy of my letter to Mr. Shazar.
May it be G‑d's will that very soon what is stated there concerning our Jewish brethren in our country will be fulfilled; in this matter as well—aside from many other reasons—there is a vital need to expand the village not only spiritually but also materially and simply by enlarging the place and area, as it is written: 'Verachava v'nisaba l'maala l'maala' (it will broaden and expand ever higher).
