בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מיום כ"ב טבת. וכבר כתבו לי אנ"ש שי' - ולא אחת - על דבר התענינותו ועזרתו לכפר חב"ד ומוסדותיו, והתקוה שימשיך בזה ככל האפשר. ולאור מכתבו, הרי התקוה מתחזקת.
בעת רצון אזכיר את כ' ואת אשתו ובני ביתו שי' על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, למלוי משאלות לבו לטובה, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
והרי שנה זו בפרט היא שנת סגולה להיותה שנת המאה וחמשים להסתלקותו של אדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא והשלחן-ערוך, אבי תנועת חב"ד ושיטתה והדרכותי', ויהי רצון שהזכרון יעורר כל אחד מאתנו בתוככי כלל ישראל למעשים בפועל בכיוון הרצוי, שהמשעה הרצוי הוא גם צנור וכלי לקבלת ברכות השי"ת בכל המצטרך.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to receive your letter from the 22nd of Tevet. I have already been informed by Anash—more than once—about your involvement and assistance to Kfar Chabad and its institutions, and there is hope that you will continue this as much as possible. In light of your letter, this hope is strengthened.
At an auspicious time I will mention you and your wife and household at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good, both materially and spiritually together.
This year in particular is especially auspicious as it marks one hundred and fifty years since the passing of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, founder of Chabad and its path and guidance. May it be G‑d's will that this remembrance arouse each one of us within all Israel to practical deeds in the desired direction, as such action is also a channel and vessel to receive blessings from Hashem in all needs.
