וויל איך זיין שטארק אין האפענונג, וויבאלד אז איר טוט שרייבט אזוי בנוגע א מצוה, וואס פאר אידען, וועלכע געפינען זיך אין חוץ לארץ בזמן שבית המקדש הי' קיים, און ווער רעדט אז משחרב בית המקדש, פאר אלע אידען, איז די מצוה זיכער ניט מדאורייתא, איז דאך מכל שכן וקל וחומר אז איר וועט טאן מכאן ולהבא, אלעס וואס עס היינגט אפ פון אייך, צו מקיים זיין די מצוה פון ואהבת לרעך כמוך, וכביאור חכמנו ז"ל אז דאס ענטהאלט אויך, אזוי ווי מ'וויל טאן פאר זיך, צו אויפפירען זיך אין טאג טעגליכען לעבען לויט די אנווייזונגען פון תורתנו הק' תורת חיים ובקיום מצותי' עליהם נאמר וחי בהם, דארפמען אויך אזוי טאן, בדרכי נועם, אז אלע ארום זיך זאלען מקיים זיין די אלע מצות וועלכע זיינען זיכער מדאורייתא, אלע מצות וועלכע זיינען מדרבנן, און דערנאך אויך צוטרייען זיי צו הידור מצוה וכו' וכו' און מיר זיינען פארזיכערט געווארען, אז דברים היוצאין מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב.
און לויט ווי איך האב געהערט, אז אין פאסייעק איז דא פיל צו אופיטאן בנוגע חינוך על טהרת הקדש, וואס פילע קינדער האבען פארלויפיג נאך ניט אזא חינוך און אזוי אויך צו אנדערע ענינים על טהרת הקדש וכו' און איך האף אז ווי געזאגט איר וועט טאן אין דעם מיט גרויס ענערגיע והשי"ת יצליחו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 12th of Nissan. Thank you very much for your blessings and wishes. As we have discussed several times, there is a strong directive in Torah that whoever blesses a Jew is blessed by Hashem Himself, as it is written: 'Va'avarecha Mevarechecha' ("I will bless those who bless you"), and the blessing from the Holy One is given with abundant increase beyond the principal.
Regarding the content of your letter about the mitzvah of Aliyah L'Regel: I want to strongly express my hope—since you write about a mitzvah which for Jews living outside Eretz Yisrael during the time when the Beis HaMikdash stood (and certainly after its destruction) is no longer a Torah obligation—that all the more so you will henceforth do everything within your power to fulfill the mitzvah of 'Ve'ahavta L'Rei'acha Kamocha' ("Love your fellow as yourself"). As our Sages explain, this also means that just as one wants things for oneself, one should conduct daily life according to the instructions of our holy Torah—the Torah of Life—and by fulfilling its mitzvos about which it says 'V'chai Bahem' ("and you shall live by them"). One must also act pleasantly so that everyone around will observe all those mitzvos that are certainly from the Torah, all those that are Rabbinic, and then even encourage them toward hiddur mitzvah (beautifying a mitzvah), etc., etc. And we have been assured that words coming from the heart enter the heart.
And as I have heard, in Passaic there is much to accomplish regarding education al taharas hakodesh (on the purity of holiness), as many children still do not yet have such an education; likewise regarding other matters al taharas hakodesh, etc. I hope that as mentioned you will act in this with great energy and Hashem will grant you success.
