It is most surprising that for a long time there has been no news about what is happening in the network, and it seems to me that during this period—about half a year or more—only the most minimal and fragmented information has been received, and even that only when necessary for a specific question or issue. Apparently, some of the school administrators simply think that it is up to the network administration to inform them, so nothing is heard from them either.

Of course, my intention is not to criticize the past but rather to focus on the future. May it be G‑d's will that this will have an effect regarding the near future with all necessary detail.

As for now, I am referring to matters related to the month of Kislev each year. The point is that apparently the opportunities of Kislev are not being utilized in the network schools at all, especially regarding the inner aspect of spreading the wellsprings—Torat HaChassidus, its guidance and customs (in ways appropriate for their age, knowledge level, and character traits of the students). The intention here is not only regarding Yud and Yud-Tes Kislev but also concerning Chanukah. Even if one would say that not everyone will grasp how Chanukah relates specifically to spreading the wellsprings (since the miracle was with oil—the secret of secrets in Torah [a spring as a source for a well from which a river flows], and the mitzvah is to illuminate at one's doorway outward—spreading the wellsprings outward), certainly it will be accepted that Chanukah teaches about spreading the light of Torah with self-sacrifice without regard for any obstacles or hindrances—whether internal (home conduct, parents) or external—as emphasized in "Al HaNissim," etc.

And even if one would say that part of Chanukah are vacation days in these schools (since here we do not know what arrangements exist in schools in Eretz HaKodesh during these days), surely before then they speak about Chanukah matters.

It would be proper that immediately upon receiving this letter they consult on all these points so preparations can be made ahead of time and in an organized manner.
