After the longest interruption, your letter from the 24th of Teves was received, the yahrzeit of the esteemed Admor HaZaken, in which you briefly write about how you are currently settling in and about the people you have met over time.

Certainly it is unnecessary to remind you to continue your connection with them, even though you are not in the same place, through letters and similar means. The purpose of this connection is, obviously and simply, that it will increase their connection to Hashem, the G‑d of Israel—connection up to cleaving—as it is written: "Ve'atem ha'dveikim b'Hashem Elokeichem chayim kulchem hayom" (And you who cleave to Hashem your G‑d are all alive today). There is a strong assurance that such efforts are never in vain.

And even though you write that someone who wants to learn does not do so for its own sake etc.—regarding the hidden matters of the Merciful One, why do you concern yourself? He should do his part and Torah will do its part—to ultimately bring him back to good.

Since your friend... may he live—is together with you—it is understood that all of the above applies to him as well. Each person should help his fellow in spreading true Judaism and all its matters.
