קבלתי הידיעה התלפונית בהנוגע לבריאות בתו מרת קעניא תחי', ובעת רצון אזכירה על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך לה, ובטח יבשר טוב בזה, בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
ז"ע נתקבל מכתב מחתנו ובתו - שליט"א - ממילאן, ונהניתי במאד לקרות בו ר"פ משהותם ועניניהם בהיותם בפאריז, והעיקר מצב רוחם, כפי האפשרי לבחון מבין השיטים, ותקותי חזקה ביותר, שיצליחו בהצלחה מופלגה בדבר השליחות והתועלת, ומתוך ספוק נפשי גדול וברכת השי"ת והצלחתו, וגם בעניניהם הפרטים.
וע"פ ההתקשרות של הורים לבנים, הנני כותב עד"ז גם לכת"ר וזוגתו תחי', ויהי רצון שירוו מהם ומכל יו"ח שיחיו רוב נחת אמיתי, הוא נחת יהודי חסידותי מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב והצלחה גדולה בפעולותיהם הם בשטח חב"ד.

I received the telephone message regarding the health of your daughter Mrs. Kenia, may she live, and at an auspicious time I will mention her at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, for all that she needs. Certainly you will share good news about this, with visible and revealed goodness.
Recently I received a letter from your son-in-law and daughter—may they be well—from Milan, and I was very pleased to read in it about their stay and matters while they were in Paris. Most importantly, their state of mind as much as can be discerned between the lines. My hope is very strong that they will succeed greatly in their mission and its benefit, with great personal satisfaction and with G‑d's blessing and success—even in their personal matters.
And based on the connection between parents and children, I am writing similarly to you and your wife, may she live. May it be G‑d's will that you derive much true nachas from them and from all your descendants—genuine Jewish chassidic nachas—with joy, gladness of heart, and great success in their activities within Chabad.
