מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מא' תולדות, בו כותב אודות פעולות בהפצת התורה ואפילו בחוצות, וישר כחו בעד העבר, אבל מובן שצריך להוסיף בזה, והרי על כאו"א מאתנו אפילו מארי דעובדין טבין ביותר קאי מאמר רז"ל דמעלין בקודש, ידועה ג"כ הוראת רז"ל כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו, שזה כולל ג"כ הוספה בעניני האדם שיוכל להעלות בקודש ביותר וביותר.
מוסג"פ מה שהו"ל בזמן האחרון ובטח יזכה בתוכנם את הרבים וזכות הרבים תלוי בו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the first day of Parshas Toldos, in which you write about your activities in spreading Torah—even in public places. Thank you for your past efforts; however, it is understood that one must add to this. For each and every one of us—even those who are already among the greatest doers of good—the saying of our Sages applies: 'Ma'alin baKodesh' (one ascends in holiness). It is also well known what our Sages teach: 'Whoever increases is given more,' which includes increasing one's own spiritual matters so that one can ascend even higher and higher in holiness.
Enclosed is what was recently published; surely you will use its content to benefit the many, and the merit of the many depends on you.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that no matter one's level, there is always room to increase in spreading Torah and personal growth in holiness. By sharing Torah with others and continually striving higher, we fulfill our responsibility to uplift ourselves and those around us.
