In response to your letter from the 12th of Nissan, in which you write about your young son... may he live, as you requested I will mention him at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbgm zya, leader of Israel, for an improvement in his health.

It would be worthwhile for the doctors among us to connect with a specialist in this field who is located in Casablanca or Paris, because as has been heard there are new medications for such matters.

It is necessary to know whether in his and his wife's shidduch—may they live—they did not offend the honor of a son or daughter of Israel; and if G‑d forbid they did, they should ask their local rabbi if there is a need to request forgiveness.

They must also be careful, at least from now on, in observing the laws and statutes of family purity—that is immersion in a kosher mikveh (not city water), hefsek taharah etc.—and check the mezuzos in their home to ensure they are kosher, as well as his tefillin to ensure they are kosher.

May Hashem grant them success to share good news regarding all the above.
