לאחרי שתיקתו הארוכה נעם לי לקבל מכתבו ממוצש"ק תולדות. בו כותב אשר עבר לגור בראשון לציון ומתעסק שם במלאכת הקדש חינוך על טהרת הקדש המקרב את לבם של בני ישראל לאבינו שבשמים. ובודאי מדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה אבל כ"פ ככה לקבל רוב נחת יהודי מכל יו"ח שיחיו.
כן נהניתי ממ"ש שנותן שיעור בערב בצבא בנביאים ודינים ובודאי משתדל שהדינים יהיו הלכות הצריכות בחיי היום יומים כי ה"ז כל האדם את האלקים ירא ואת מצותיו שמור.
מ"ש שיש לו שיעור בלימוד החסידות בליל ש"ק. בודאי למותר לעורו שאין זה מספיק כלל וכלל וצריך להיות לימוד זה עכ"פ איזה פעמים גם במשך השבוע ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון...

After your long silence, I was pleased to receive your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Toldos. In it you write that you have moved to Rishon LeZion and are engaged there in the holy work of education on the foundation of holiness, bringing the hearts of the children of Israel closer to our Father in Heaven. Certainly, the measure of the Holy One Blessed Be He is measure for measure; at least this much should be to receive abundant Jewish nachas from all your children may they live.
I also enjoyed what you wrote about giving an evening class in the army on Nevi'im and laws, and certainly you strive that these laws are those needed for daily life, for "this is the whole person: fear G‑d and keep His commandments."
You wrote that you have a class in learning Chassidus on Friday night. Surely it is unnecessary to awaken you that this is not sufficient at all and this study should take place at least several times during the week as well—there is nothing that stands before willpower...
