I enjoyed your visit while you were in New York, and I was pleased with the opportunity to speak with you. I hope you arrived home safely.

The subject of our conversation is surely still fresh in your memory. Certainly it will not be long before you begin implementing what we discussed—the founding of a yeshiva in your country for those who are unable or unwilling to travel to a place of Torah. You should also immediately begin energetic outreach and action to strengthen and expand kosher education in general throughout your country.

Every Jewish man and woman has a share in the responsibility for kosher education, and you, as the chief rabbi of your country, surely recognize the great potential entrusted to you in this matter. If not for the principle that one need not urge someone who is already diligent, I would say there is no need to encourage you; nevertheless, zeal is always good for such an undertaking. Surely you will value your time so it does not go to waste and will proceed promptly with implementing the work plan we discussed.

I wish you much Divine assistance and abundant success both materially and spiritually.
