אחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו ממקום משרדו החדש בסנגל, ובהתענינות קראתי על דבר פרטי עבודתו שם. תקותי אשר בכל מקום שמבקר, אם נמצאים שם אחינו בני ישראל, ולכאורה אין לך מדינה ועיר שאין שם מבני ישראל, משתדל להפגש אתם ומזכירם ומעוררם ומעודדם על גזע צור מחצבתם, וכו' וכו'. והרי לא תמיד יודעים אנו בפעולותינו בעולם הזה מהו העיקר, עד שאפשר הדבר שמסבב הסיבות גורם לכמה סיבות ופעולות וענינים בשביל מאורע אחד, פגישה אחת ופרט אחד. ורואים זה גם בסדר הטבע הסובב אותנו, ולדוגמא בעולם הצומח, הרי ההפרי' הבאה על ידי אבק הזרע הנפוץ בכמה מליונים, רק אחדים מהם מפריחים ומצמיחים, ועל דרך זה גם בנוגע לגרעינים וזרעים וכו'.

I hope that wherever you visit—if there are our fellow Jews there (and it seems there is no country or city without Jews)—you strive to meet them and remind, awaken, and encourage them about their roots and heritage, etc., etc.
We do not always know which of our actions in this world is most important; sometimes the One Who arranges all causes brings about many events and activities for the sake of a single occurrence, meeting, or detail.
This is also seen in the natural order around us. For example: in the plant world, fertilization occurs through pollen scattered in millions; only a few actually bear fruit and grow. Similarly with seeds and grains, etc.
Thank you for writing details regarding Kfar Chabad in Eretz HaKodesh—may it be rebuilt and established—and their settlement's development.
According to Jewish tradition, as we approach Pesach—the Festival of our Freedom—I will conclude with heartfelt wishes for a kosher and joyous holiday and for true freedom both physically and spiritually: true freedom from all matters that confuse or hinder each person in fulfilling his G‑d-given mission.
