געפינענדיג זיך געציילטע טעג פון דעם יום הילולא יארצייט - עשירי בשבט - פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, און אלס צוגאב צו די ערשטע רייד אין דער התועדות (פארבריינגען) אין פארבינדונג מיט דעם יום הילולא, מוצאי שבת קדש פרשת שירה, וואס אן אפשריפט (העתקה) איז דא בייגעלייגט.
וויך איך אויך מיט דעם שרייבן באטאנען דעם ספעציעלן זכות (און גלייכצייטיג אויך די אחריות) פון אידישע פרויען בכלל און פון נשי ובנות חב"ד בפרט, אין דעם אויספירען אין לעבען דאס געזאגטע אין דער שיחה, וועגען איבערגעבענהייט צום חינוך הקודש פון אידישע קינדער.
ווי מ'זעט בפועל, אז חינוך און ספעציעל אין די גאר יונגע יארען היינגט אפ הויפטזעכליך אדער אינגאנצען אן דער פרוי.
און בכלל איז דאך בא אידישע פרויען קומען צום אויסדרוק אין א גאר שטארקער מאס דע דריי מדות מיט וועלכע דאס אידישע פאלק איז אויסגעצייכענט: רחמנים ביישנים גומלי חסדים.
וואס די מדות פון רחמים וגמילות חסדים, זיינען דאך העכסט וויכטיג אין דעם חינוך פון קינדער,
און השי"ת זאל העלפען, אז איר זאלט טאן אין דאס אויבען געזאגטע אין גוטען געזונט און גוטער שטימונג - דורכגענומען מיט חסידות'שע ווארימקייט און ליכטיקייט און ער זאל אייך געבען הצלחה אין דעם.
און זיכער וועט דאס אויך בריינגען א צוגאב אין די ברכות פון השם יתברך אויך אין די פריוואטע אנגעלעגענהייטען פון יעדער איינער מ יט איר פאמיליע - שליט"א.

We find ourselves just a few days after the yahrzeit—Yom Hilulah—of the tenth of Shevat, of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe, leader of Israel. In addition to the first words at the gathering (farbrengen) connected with this Yom Hilulah on Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh Parshas Shira—of which a transcript is attached—I wish also through this letter to emphasize the special merit (and at the same time also the responsibility) of Jewish women in general and Nshei U'Bnos Chabad in particular in implementing in life what was said in that talk regarding devotion to the holy education of Jewish children.
As is seen in practice, education—and especially in very early years—depends mainly or entirely on the woman. And generally among Jewish women are expressed to a very strong degree those three traits by which the Jewish people are distinguished: compassion, modesty, and acts of kindness. The traits of compassion and acts of kindness are extremely important in educating children. May Hashem help that you will act on all that was mentioned above with good health and good spirits—imbued with chassidic warmth and light—and may He grant you success in this.
Certainly this will also bring an increase in blessings from Hashem Yisborach also in each one's personal matters with your family—may they live and be well.
