After the longest pause, your letter from Wednesday was received, requesting a blessing and a pan (pidyon nefesh). At an auspicious time you will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), in accordance with the content of your letter. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news about this.

It is understandable to be surprised and puzzled that you did not mention anything in your letter regarding your activities in spreading Judaism in general and especially spreading the wellsprings outward. This year marks two hundred years since the passing of our teacher, the Baal Shem Tov z"l, and his words are known from his Iggeres HaKodesh: 'When your wellsprings spread outward, then Mashiach will come.'

Nor did you mention participation in Beis Lubavitch activities, which is also greatly surprising after Divine Providence granted you such great and deep closeness from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news about this as well.
