Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 15th of Iyar, in which you write that you were asked to give a lecture at a group where, about two years ago, you already lectured. It is unclear why there is hesitation; since you have already lectured once before in front of many people, why not do so now—especially since the setting is smaller? Surely you can use this opportunity to speak about the Torah's perspective—Torat Chayim—on man's purpose and how he should serve the Creator, etc.
Regarding your concern that you might be asked some questions: if you have an answer ready on the spot, all the better; if not, you can always say that since the question is not directly related to your lecture's topic, you'll provide an answer at another time—either at a future gathering or in writing, and so on.
You did not write when this lecture is supposed to take place. Apparently you have a record of your first lecture; it would be worthwhile to send it here so there will be a clearer understanding of the entire matter.
Regarding your request for guidelines for this upcoming lecture: surely you have several maamarim of Chassidus as well as Tanya with an index of topics, and also indexes for Torah Or and Likkutei Torah that were just published. Using these indexes, you can find those topics in which you are most interested.
At an auspicious time your son will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), according to the content of your letter.
It is surely unnecessary to remind you to strengthen your efforts in spreading the wellsprings [of Chassidus] in general. This opportunity can also be used for such dissemination—as is obvious—especially since it seems that influential people from certain circles will participate in this gathering. Particularly now, as we are in this year—the bicentennial of the passing (yahrtzeit) of the Baal Shem Tov—a time especially suited for spreading these wellsprings until they reach even further outwards.
Blessings for good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe encourages seizing every opportunity to share Torah and Chassidus with others. He offers practical advice for addressing questions during lectures and stresses using available resources. The letter highlights the unique power of spreading Chassidic teachings during auspicious times.
