... במ"ש אודות העזר הדרוש בהנהלת הישיבה אחי תמימים - כבר מלתי אמורה זה כ"פ, אם בפירוש או ברמז שקוף, אשר אין עליו להניח אפילו חלק מזכותו בהנהלת הישיבה הק' כמובן וגם פשוט, אלא שעליו להשתדל שהענינים הטכנים יתנהלו ע"י אחרים דוקא וק"ל - ע"י השגחתו באופן דמרחף ולכל היותר דנכנס ויוצא. ועד"ז הוא גם בהנוגע להשגיח על הכתות, וכשיסדר שכל פרטי הענינים, בהנוגע לפועל, יעשו ע"י אחרים רק שיקבל הוא דו"ח וכו' - בודאי שיתוסף בחשק ורצון שלו ובבריאות גם כפשוטה, ויוכל להקדיש כל מרצו להתפתחות הישיבה. ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

Regarding what you wrote about the assistance needed in managing the Yeshivah Achei Temimim—I have already stated this several times, whether explicitly or by clear hint: he should not relinquish even a part of his authority in managing the holy yeshiva, obviously and simply. Rather, he should strive for technical matters to be handled specifically by others—under his supervision in a manner of 'hovering,' and at most 'coming and going.' The same applies to overseeing the classes; when he arranges that all practical details are carried out by others and he only receives reports, certainly his enthusiasm and desire will increase, as well as his health in the literal sense. He will then be able to devote all his energy to the yeshiva's development. There is nothing that stands before one's will.
