מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מט"ו מ"ח, בו כותב ר"פ מעניני הפצת המעינות, ויהי רצון שיתוסף בהפעולות האמורות כהנה וכהנה בתוככי שאר פעולות להפצת היהדות המסורתית, שבד"מ יתוסף כהנה וכהנה בענינים הגשמים בפרט שבהשתלשלות מלמעלה למטה הוא בגשמיות כ"פ ככה בערך הרוחניות, וכידוע הדוגמא אשר בהקרבת עוף אחד ע"ג המזבח נעשית עליית עולמות עליונים ונמשכת ברכה רבה בעניני האדם.
ובפרט אשר השנה היא שנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא של הבעש"ט עת וזמן מסוגל להפצת המעינות ועד שיגיעו גם חוצה.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 15th of Menachem Av, in which you write at length about matters concerning spreading the wellsprings. May it be G‑d's will that there be an increase in these aforementioned activities, as well as in all other efforts to spread traditional Judaism. Generally, when there is an increase in spiritual matters, it is reflected many times over in material matters—especially since the descent from above to below manifests physically to a much greater degree than spiritually. It is well known that by offering even one bird on the altar, there is an elevation of supernal worlds and abundant blessing is drawn down into a person's affairs.
Especially now that this year marks two hundred years since the passing—the yahrzeit—of the Baal Shem Tov, which is a particularly auspicious time for spreading the wellsprings until they reach even those who are outside.
With blessings for good news.
