וזכות פעולותיו באופן דתמכין דאורייתא, עוד יותר מאשר לימודו לעצמו, בודאי שתעמוד לו ולב"ב שי' בהנ"ל.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter on this matter. As you requested, I will mention you and all those you wrote about at the holy Tziyun of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, according to the content of your letter. May it be G‑d's will that just as you brought your request, so too you will share good news in this regard.
The merit of your actions as a supporter of Torah—especially even more than your own learning—will surely stand by you and your family in all these matters.
This is emphasized in the teaching of our master, the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya (the halachic authority in the hidden dimension of Torah) and Shulchan Aruch (the halachic authority in the revealed dimension), on "Etz Chaim Hi LaMachazikim Bah" (Simchat Torah 5540): Those who attain understanding are those who study Torah; its supporters are called "fortunate," as it says in Zohar (III, 53b), "Do not read 'fortunate' but 'from his head,' for through their service they draw down from His head—that is, from the innermost aspect of Ein Sof—just as it is specifically the foot that lifts up the head."
