א) עד עתה התפלל בנוסח ספרד, האם ישנה לנוסח חב"ד, ז.א. נוסח האריז"ל, כיון שלומד בישיבת חב"ד.
בכלל נכון הדבר ומכמה טעמים, אבל ידועה ההוראה אשר אפשר לשנות מנוסח אשכנז לספרד ומנוסח ספרד לנוסח האריז"ל שהוא נוסח חב"ד, אבל לא להיפך, ולכן באם יחליט לשנות הרי זה צ"ל לתמיד, והרי ידועה מסורת חסידים, אשר רבנו הזקן בירר הנוסח שלו מששים סידורים,
בברכה לבשו"ט ולחתימה וגמח"ט,

תקותי שלומד (הוא הכותב) בהתמדה ושקידה ושומר גם שיעורי חומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, ומהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו שתהינה כשרות כדין.

In response to your question: a) Until now you have prayed according to Nusach Sefard; should you switch to Nusach Chabad, i.e., Nusach HaAri, since you are studying in a Chabad yeshivah? In general, this is appropriate for several reasons. However, it is known that the instruction is that one may change from Nusach Ashkenaz to Sefard and from Sefard to Nusach HaAri (which is Nusach Chabad), but not the reverse. Therefore, if you decide to change, it should be permanent. It is also well known among chassidim that our master the Alter Rebbe established his nusach after examining sixty siddurim.

P.S. The questioner asks on behalf of Mr... regarding removing the beard etc.: We have only the words of Admor tzt"z, as explained at length in his responsa Yoreh Deah section 93 (see there at length), that it is forbidden. See also his ruling in Yoreh Deah sections 181-182. And in Tehillim on the verse "VeHu Rachum." Also see Shu"t Minchas Elazar vol. II siman 48.
I hope (the writer) that you study diligently and persistently and also keep up with the daily study cycles of Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya as is customary. It would be proper for your tefillin to be checked so they are kosher according to halacha.
