I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letters from Erev Rosh Chodesh Tammuz and from the 2nd of Tammuz, along with their enclosures. Certainly, at the appropriate opportunity you will inform me about the official exchange rate of the franc, etc., etc.

May it be G‑d's will that the matter in Denmark serve as a good beginning for spreading the wellsprings in this country and its surrounding nations. With the concealments that existed until now, may this period of beginning be completed—for only all beginnings are difficult—and "Yafutzu Maayanosecha Chutzah" (your wellsprings shall spread outward), both revealed Torah and Chassidus together. Merit is brought about through meritorious days—these being the upcoming 12th and 13th of Tammuz, the redemption of our Rebbe, our leader, head of Israel; for indeed, the body follows the head. May it be G‑d's will that each one of us be redeemed immediately from all confusing matters and with a revealed victory over them as was in those days thirty-one years ago. With expanded awareness may you increase efforts in all those matters for which the Baal HaSimchah gave his life—first and foremost by establishing students who fear Hashem and study His complete Torah (both revealed and inner dimensions) and fulfill His mitzvos beautifully.
